Gaúcha Farm
Nowadays, Gaúcha Farm can be considered one of the largest and most representative in the region.
It all began in 1976, when Rogério Luiz Seibt, a Rio Grande do Sul native from Não Me Toque, bought his first plot of land at the age of 23 in the plateaus of São Pedro da Ponte Firme, in the municipality of Presidente Olegário-MG, 75 km from Patos de Minas, a hub city of the region, which at the time was connected by a poorly maintained dirt road.
The paved road through Gaúcha Farm was only opened in 1990, which shows just how difficult it was for him and other pioneers to set up a farming project in the savannahs of Alto Paranaíba in Minas Gerais. In the early years, soybean cultivation was the mainstay of rural farming. Soya is still the main product grown today, but the diversification of activities has incorporated new crops into the production process.
In the agricultural sector, Gaúcha Farm grows corn, coffee and, above all, soybeans for seed production.

ADMINISTRATIVE STRUCTURE
Sementes Gaúcha’s office and administrative structure are located at Avenida Juscelino Kubitscheck, 2.480, Planalto, Patos de Minas – MG.
Management, departments: Technical, Tax, Finance, Accounting, HR, Personnel and Sales are centralized there.
